Faith in a noisy world

About GenuineLife

Where What's Going On Meets Peace

There's a lot happening. New questions emerging every day about how faith intersects with politics, culture, relationships, and the daily news cycle. And it feels like the world is demanding that you have a position, now, loudly, and without nuance.

GenuineLife is a space to slow down and think. To hold the tension between what's true and what's complex. To ask honest questions. To extend grace without condoning. To engage without becoming what you're pushing back against.

The name is simple: I want this to be a genuine account of a life of faith, not polished, not performative, not preachy. Just honest.

"Faith doesn't mean having all the answers. It means trusting the One who does, and being honest about everything in between."

Who am I

I'm Ezio Arciniega: business coach, AI consultant, a regular person and someone still figuring out what it means to follow Jesus in a noisy, complicated world. I'm based in California.

I don't have all the answers, and I'm not writing from a pulpit. I'm writing from the middle of it, with the same confusion, the same questions, and the same effort to hold faith and reality together without losing either.

If something I write resonates, challenges you, or makes you want to push back, I'd genuinely love to hear from you.

A note on Scripture

The Scripture you'll find here is our own modernized rendering of the King James Version, checked against the original Greek and Hebrew. The KJV is in the public domain, which lets us put every verse in clear, present-day English without leaning on a copyrighted translation. Where a passage carries real weight, we go back to the original languages to keep the rendering faithful, not just readable. Because it stays close to the King James text, you can hold any verse here up against the KJV and see the lineage for yourself.
